These are extraordinary times for the entire world as we navigate COVID-19 each day at a time. As we sit in self-isolation in our homes, I see across the socials that connection with one another is still vital for the health, well-being and mental health of all of us. There are Instagram lives and stories full of videos and information that let’s us laugh, cry, learn and rejoice. Facebook has created all kinds of lockdown groups from mums enjoying virtual wine times, homeschooling tips, teach-at-home-learning ideas and funny videos with tongue in cheek humour to make us all laugh.

We can’t be together at this time, but we can still show people we care. At Lizard Learning we have created – Sending You A Hug cards – a set of 7 cards for all ages to print and colour. Cards for family, friends, neighbours or essential workers that can have personal messages written inside and could be ‘delivered’ to letterboxes during daily walks. A great way for children to work in a positive way and bring smiles to others.
