That Last Nerve

You know the one! When all the jobs, tasks, to-do’s, meetings, testing to create/set/mark, school reports to write, the parent to settle, the admin to keep happy, the field trip to take, the next round of year level standardised testing to complete (and you haven’t even stepped in front of the class to teach yet, engaged with your kids or broke out a lesson plan) ….and then there’s that one kid who wants to test you and test you ALL day they will!!

Count down 5,4,3,2,1, breathe and know this too shall pass and all the jobs will be done and another new challenge will be in its place to test you, but one thing is certain, challenges aren’t given to the weak, but to the brave, the resilient and strong! That’s you teacher and you’ve got this.
