Word Endings

word ending s
Word Endings! It looks simple right? Let me show you how I make a lower grade activity into one for the 10 and 11-year-olds.

Three more activities to help with the creative flow and bring differentiation into the classroom for each student:

1) Write a sentence using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 words depending on the ability level of each student. You know your kids and how many each individual child could do without being overwhelmed.

2) Place a few words into alphabetical order if you have the little ones. Why not use all the words if you teach the older kids. That would be FUN!

3) Older students could use each word and write a long story. You decide if it is one, two, three or more paragraphs.

4) If you have heaps of time on your hands to create more fun ways to use this activity, you could give each child the main words and they find and glue on the correct word ending.

There are so many ways to engage your kids. What activities can you suggest for this activity?
